Denji is a poor and struggling teenage boy who works as a Devil Hunter alongside his loyal companion, the Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Burdened with a massive debt left behind by his parents, Denji lives a harsh and miserable life, risking his life daily just to survive. One tragic day, he is betrayed by those he trusted and brutally killed. As Denji loses consciousness, Pochita makes a life-changing contract with him, sacrificing itself to save Denji’s life. Through this deal, Denji is reborn as Chainsaw Man, a powerful hybrid who possesses the heart of a devil and the strength to fight the most dangerous enemies.
