The violent assault carried out by Samurai Sword leaves devastating consequences for Public Safety Devil Extermination Division 4, resulting in heavy casualties and deep emotional scars. As the dust settles, Aki Hayakawa wakes up in a hospital bed, struggling to accept the painful reality of losing Himeno. Grief and anger weigh heavily on him as he questions his future as a Devil Hunter.
Soon after, Kurose and Tendo appear before Aki and inform him that they will now take responsibility for his training, pushing him toward becoming stronger in the battles ahead.
